Volunteer for Care Ministry

Help Us Build a Culture of Care

At New Life, we want to care for people well as a whole community - not just the staff and elders. When someone faces hardship or challenge, the power of prayer, presence, encouragement, and practical support is incredibly meaningful. We want to build that ministry for our church family, and share the hope of the Gospel with each other. This is a way we can love and disciple one another.

So, we have been working on formalizing a Care Ministry at New Life, and we’re looking for people who want to help! People who can offer hope and point others to the good news of the Gospel in ways that are relevant to the circumstances someone may be facing.

Your sign-up will prompt an invitation to an upcoming meeting where we’ll share the vision for our Care Ministry and introduce some of the teams we’re considering—including prayer, phone calls, visits, cards, and meals. You’ll have an opportunity to share which areas you’re most interested in at that meeting.

No prior experiences is necessary! We aren't looking for people who have all the answers. We're looking to build a ministry with those who desire to care for people - our people - and be part of what God's building at New Life.
